Students need to have completed their 12th grade with science faculty physics, chemistry, and biology (PCB) with a minimum aggregate score as specified by the equivalent board, generally 50% – 60% required.

The course is approved by the NCISM (National Commission for Indian System of Medicine) and the Ministry of Ayush. Focused topics in the BAMS course such as Modern Anatomy, Pathology, Physiology, Principles of Medicine, and Pharmacology.
