About Haveri University: Haveri University, Keri Mattihalli, was founded in 2022 under the Karnataka Universities (Amendment) Act 2022. With its first Vice Chancellor, Prof. Suresh H. Jangamshetti, the university officially started functioning in 2023. To cater to the youth of Haveri district, it was taken out of the erstwhile Karnataka University, Dharwad, and is currently located in Kerimattihalli, Haveri. It’s a privately owned University.

To take admission in any of the courses offered by the University, a candidate must first check all the criteria provided by the university to see if they qualify for admission. For the Undergraduate Program, a student must have obtained at least 50% marks in any field from any recognized board. For reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC, a 5% relaxation might apply, so that they can take admission under 45% marks. Under the Undergraduate Program, an entrance exam, the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), might also be applicable. 

For Post Graduation, a student must possess an Undergraduate degree in any relevant field and must have passed with 45% marks. Relaxation for reserved categories might also apply here. Some specific courses might require some extra qualifications that a student must have. Post Graduate Diploma, for the course of PGCD, a student must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.

Haveri University Admission 2025-26: Fee Structure

The Haveri University sets a different fee structure for most of its courses provided under UG, PG, and diploma courses. The fee differs according to a course’s duration, type, entrance exams, or other reasons. However, for post-graduation courses, the fee ranges from 1.5 lakh to 2 lakh per year. Some PG courses like M.A. English, M.A. Sociology, and M.Com. Cost around 1.5 lakh. While other courses like Pharm D. and B. Pharm cost between 2 to 4 lakhs.

The basic and average fee for most of its courses is around 75,000, but students can cut on that by claiming scholarships and other relaxations under quota. One might also get some relief in the fee structure if they have qualified for the K-CET examination.
