UNOM Distance Education Admission UG Courses 2025
In UNOM Distance Education, a 3-year undergraduate course is offered in both academic and calendar years. It has been divided into 2 semesters per year. The academic year stream is from July to November and from December to June, and the Calendar year starts from January to June and from July to December.
Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses in UNOM Distance Education
- All UG Programs like B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.B.A, B.C.A, etc degree programs need 10+2 by the Government of Tamil Nadu or any other recognized Board or a three-year Diploma.
- Candidates may also be required to pass the G.C.E. (Advanced level/Principal level) with at least three subjects at the ‘A’ level, including English at the O level.
- Moreover, the Senior School Certificate Examination (XII Standard) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education from 1979 onwards, with a pass in no fewer than five subjects, including English, is valid.
- Similarly, the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) (12 Years), conducted by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination from 1977 onwards, with a pass in at least five subjects, including English, is recognized.
- Lastly, the Intermediate Examination (2 years) of Andhra Pradesh, Pre-Degree Examination (2 Years) of Kerala, and Pre-University Examination (2 Years) of Karnataka under the 10+2 pattern are also accepted.

To apply to the University of Madras for distance education for session 2025 academic term. Visit the official website www.ideunom.ac.in.
